Imagine building on 4 acres. Now imagine that you can build 100 residential units ranging from a studio to a 2 bedroom home. Now imagine that you also have 10 commercial units, a community center and pedestrian streets. Easy enough so far?
Ok, now go wait out and imagine that the whole thing is carbon neutral. IE, they live like we only have 1 planet's worth of materials to use instead of 5. Crazy eh? Passive solar, greywater treatment, local material sourcing, etc and as a homeowner you get a market rate home with 10% of the average heating bill worth a 15% premium and a wait list to buy. And this is just the first One Planet project....

AMAZING SON . . . this is the first time I have been on your blog (I tend to avoid them altogether cause they are longer than email and myspace and take more time) But you have some good and interesting stuff on here. AWESOME FINDS!
