This was perhaps the most rhetoric free moment of the debate as each candidate articulated clearly their platform. As I understood it:
Biden supports equality in every sphere of government influence, using the constitutional separation of church and state as the basis for not using the term marriage.
Palin supports tolerance in the form of continued institutionalized homophobia including any form of justice that may interfere with her religious perspective.
