Is there a straight lifestyle I am unaware of? I know many kinds of people and certainly some groups are quite homogeneous, the worst is definitely this cult-ish religious group we belonged to for awhile growing up. However, there is usually some crossover in any group, like I am a gay, christian, white, male, liberal with blue eyes. Does that tell you my lifestyle? Is being right handed a lifestyle choice? Is having blue eyes a lifestyle choice? Is being extroverted a lifestyle choice? Is having friends a lifestyle choice? Is belonging to a church a lifestyle choice? Would having children be a lifestyle choice? Would being straight be a lifestyle choice?
It seems that it only becomes a choice of lifestyle when it's false. If I wanted to be left handed and forced myself to be, that would be a lifestyle choice. If I wore colored contacts to have brown eyes, that would be a lifestyle choice. If I darkened my skin and had plastic surgery to look Hispanic, that would be a lifestyle choice. If I married a woman, that would be a lifestyle choice. None of those would be natural or beneficial, they would be physically and mentally damaging and ridiculous.
