Out with the old

Apparently televisions will require some digital capability in the near future. I do not care. While I like watching, I do so online and very infrequently. However, I do enjoy a movie.

A friend mentioned they were getting a new digital flat screen and were unsure what to do with the old one. So, I graciously offered to take it off their hands. Fortunately my buddy Matt was hanging out before catching a plane home and offered to help me pick it up today. The thing ended up being nearly impossibly heavy and front heavy at that. We got it in my apartment, Matt to the airport and then the matter of where to put it began. Here it is, a couple hours and a table found in my basement later.

Now I can watch movies on 32" instead of a 13" laptop. In TV world that is like 8 times bigger or something. If only I had a cool couch to watch it on instead of a low back, 2 part-love seat my fraternity was going to throw away... And a digital camera instead of my 3 year old phone to take pictures with.
