Impact

There are days it is hard to remember that what I do impacts people in a positive way. I feel alone so much because I'm home so much, I don't get much of that instant feedback that what I say, who I am, matters. This email from a reader of my blog from far far away is a good reminder I do.

You might not know me but I just want to tell I find peace and comfort in reading some of your posts. It just helps a lot. Sometimes the guilt and sense of hatred for myself for being a gay were so unbearable I feel so ugly and dirty. But those words of yours you share in your blog are beautiful.
