100

This is my 100th post. When I started this a little over 6 months ago I envisioned it as an objective look at the things that interest me: sustainable community development, social issues and philosophical questions. While many of my posts have remained in this vein, I have found it to be much more than objective observations. Instead I have seen the importance of questioning the adage; "it's not personal, it's business".

My life is full of emotion, triumph, set-back, ambition and heartache. To only portray a fraction of this would be like returning to the days of extreme self censoring; where every word was over-analyzed and my soul was crippled by fear of skewed or even accurate perception. It has been a joy to share my thoughts fully, partly because of the support I have received, partly because of opportunities it has created for others to share their own vulnerability and mostly because I believe that in sharing my struggles, I become more of the best version of myself.

As I move to the future, with its promise of uncertainty, love and adventure, I commit to continue sharing my joy, sorrow and curiosity.
