Step 5

Skinny-fat is persistent, even after more than a week of thinking about it and several days of exercise. To combat it further, I'm starving myself.... late at night. Yes, I'm doing my least favorite thing and postponing food. Late night comfort is hard to come by living alone, single, pet-less, no tv or netflicks, on a quiet street with minimal extra time. I could paint, but that is an hour minimum, preferably 3. I could exercise, but I have no outlet outside of my apartment for that this late at night. A tasty snack sounds better than crunches on a swiss ball when exhausted from a mentally draining day, oddly enough.
By the way, this is the meal I am craving. Green apples with ginger chips (and maybe peanut butter), wheat crackers, mancheco cheese and macarena almonds. It may be delicious, but good sleep and a fit body with real energy does not come from eating before bed... so I'm going to sleep early to dream of breakfast.

You're funny Gerod :-) I know some people who swear by not eating after dinner at all, and others who are convinced that eating a late night snack keeps their metabolism going. I guess try it and see what helps you.
Hey, the P-Town Farmer's Market starts back up this Saturday! So exciting!
